Hey John, I believe if this was discussed the first time when a failed proposal was directly pushed to Snapshot without further discussion, it would have been better. But from an entirely outsider perspective, discussing it here, especially under a proposal which did not have any participation from Gnosis core and asking for an explanation just gives a bad look.
Just a suggestion, and to keep this topic just related to the main proposal and reduce noise, it makes sense to have a separate discussion, even on this forum and not here.
hey @mrtdlgc ! I wanted to respond to directly to @thewanderingeditor 's comments so that those previous discussions about the governance rules and process weren’t lost on folks who are unaware. The community was asking why this proposal was pushed to Snapshot twice and clarity on the quorum threshold for the DAO.
Having a broader discussion about the state of metagov on the forum would be great in a new thread. I encourage delegates who have a strong opinion on the topic, be it the quorum threshold or the governance rules, to do so!
Thanks for the thoughtful response. I think this is a discussion worth continuing, but I agree a new thread would be better, to avoid derailing this GIP entirely. I’ll create one shortly.
