Just to add: I have released also an open script available for anyone to monitor validators externally without limitations, see staking-scripts/monitor/validators_state at main · Stakers-space/staking-scripts · GitHub

Regarding Gnosischa.in, the Explorer is definitely a must-have. However, the validator monitoring service limits inherited from ETH don’t really fit the Gnosis context — it would make much more sense to have custom limits tailored for the Gnosis chain. In my opinion, Gnosis should not be paying for a service that comes with such restrictions.

Why has GIP-136 gone to Snapshot? It didn’t pass Phase 2. I’ll reiterate my assertion that, for all the discussion on fancy ways to improve Gnosis DAO, the main issue is that the DAO has a perfectly good three-phase process which roughly zero of the GIPs actually follow. Fixing that could be achieved with zero cost.

In terms of the actual proposal at hand, @uncannyowl 's response about seems very measured and sensible

We asked DAO members about this, specifically @filoozom , and were told that anyone can create a proposal, regardless of the outcome of phase 2. However, we expect it to fail based on the phase 2 temperature check.

Hmm. Looking at the process described at Participate in Gnosis DAO Governance | Gnosis DAO Docs it’s actually not that clear.

Progressing Your Proposal: To move from Phase 2 to Phase 3, achieving a relative majority of 'in favor' votes is recommended.

Does indeed imply that passing phase 2 is optional. But that’s immediately followed by

If the relative majority indicates "Make no changes," the proposal will not pass to Phase 3.

Which seems unambiguous that it’s NOT optional.

Can @john_szczepaniak clarify? I’d also note that the link has spelled “governance” wrong… :upside_down_face:
