[RFC] Gnosis Treasury Council, Buckets, and Prediction Labs

hi @staworth, thanks for sharing this feedback, and first and foremost, will for sure be engaging in the process + we want to also agree + highlight what was brought up in some other forum comments of yours as well regarding the providers point, I think it’s necessary to reshare for others to see with regards to the care + consideration that must be taken in the current circumstances .

“We’re concerned that the treasury transition risks becoming a feasting ground for hungry external providers with no previous or future interest in the DAO beyond the fees they hunt. We need more than just good solutions - we need to protect the treasury from incentive misalignment and wasteful spending.”

Want to echo these points, and as a new participant in the forums here, we’d definitely love to learn more + hear more feedback from any folks who have any input on what can be done better across the pain points that you allude to.

with regards to any of the specific numbered subtopics, as we discussed on our RFC above, do you have any questions or challenges that you foresee regarding any topics? In particular, we saw you had some very constructive comments and questions for the Omen2.0 proposal here: Omen 2.0 - should GnosisDAO provide grant to the development of a new frontend? - #2 by staworth

As someone who contributed to dxdao + wrote the first Omen dune dashboards 5 years ago

would love to hear more feedback on what you see as valuable to try to solve within the current prediction market landscape (which I believe will have impact on how we can better challenge all parties to improve the delivery of products built on top of core Gnosis contracts .

I’d also love to hear any feedback on the framework/accountability structures (sections 3-5, 10-12) with regards to the overall treasury, versus Section 6, which we highlight is the part that Impossible is interested in contributing to as well, on the prediction market side of things as it pertains to conditional tokens + Omen.

We are very open minded to first solve some of these painpoints with the community first, and then conversation of what Impossible, and other teams may bid regarding our Sections 8,9.
