SEED Gov Voting Rationale – GIP-99: Should Gnosis Guild Steward GnosisDAO Governance?
We, SEED Gov, voted FOR GIP-99, but we would like to provide a clear disclaimer to contextualize our decision.
As @0xAlex mentioned here: Due to certain limitations within the Snapshot voting system, given the interplay between the Kleros voting strategy and SEED Gov’s actual voting preferences, our vote reflects the execution of Kleros’s delegated rights, not our own beliefs.
While we support the spirit of the proposal, specifically the intent to ensure continuity and stewardship in GnosisDAO governance, we do not endorse the budget structure or amounts as presented. In our view and as we reflected in this thread, the current financial ask lacks the granularity and transparency necessary to justify the proposed allocation. We believe a clearer breakdown of responsibilities, deliverables, and accountability mechanisms would be necessary to fully support the proposal in its current form.
