Thanks for flagging our project, @staworth.
While it’s great to see Gnosis rejuvenating its DAO activities, I share much of the sentiment expressed during the inaugural governance call (see: Gnosis DAO Governance Calls).
In my view, the current governance cadence doesn’t necessitate rushing into any particular solution, given the low underlying activity. Simply adopting a new tool won’t magically boost engagement or effectiveness.
Generally, DAO governance has stagnated when it comes to leveraging the full potential of mechanism design on-chain. Like others on the call, I believe GnosisDAO is uniquely positioned to explore alternative models for decision-making and capital allocation.
The DAO already has a strong precedent for thoughtful experimentation. Several successful initiatives have followed a clear R&D → Incubation → PMF → Spinout trajectory, including:
- Safe
- Gnosis Pay
- Circles
- CoW Swap
It would be great to see the DAO lean more deliberately into this model—building a repeatable pathway for identifying promising projects and helping them grow, potentially leading to future support from the Gnosis VC arm.
