We’re excited to share two significant milestones from our Circles Indonesia project. Our journey in 2023 has been so informative and transformative, with the potential and strategies for blockchain-based Universal Basic Income (UBI) to empower communities and foster resilience becoming clearer than ever.
Unveiling the CirclesUBI.id 2023 Report 
Our comprehensive 2023 Report delves into the implementation and impact of CirclesUBI.id, documenting our experiences and learnings from the field. With participation from over 1,500 community members in Bali and facilitating over 1,000,000 Circles exchanges, the report provides valuable insights on app recommendations and how digital points can nurture economic empowerment and community resilience in emerging economies.

This documentary, “Can Digital Points Build Community Resilience?”, is a testament to the power of innovative thinking and blockchain technology in addressing global socio-economic issues. Looking Forward to the Next Chapter 
So now, we are going into a temporary hibernation for Circles Indonesia. During this time, the app in Indonesia will be shut down while the Gnosis team builds the new version of Circles using the Gnosis Wallet. We believe that this product evolution will allow us to reach more people with an app that incorporates the key feedback we’ve learned during testing. We are excited to launch again with an even better solution in the coming year, which will help more people worldwide meet their daily needs.
As we prepare for the next steps, we’re inspired by the potential of Circles to redefine economic interactions and improve lives. We look forward to the Gnosis community building upon the findings from Indonesia to further the adoption and benefits of Circles globally.
