Thank you for your proposal.

Please could you provide links to any previous reference pieces (or, failing that, some referrals) to support your reference here?

Please could you also confirm if this proposal is presented entirely independently, or if it has been discussed with any material parties in the Gnosis ecosystem (e.g. Gnosis Ltd marketing team)?

Ideally, we’d be looking to see some meaningful distribution to a sizeable and loyal readership outside of the existing Gnosis ecosystem to warrant a commitment to pay before any work commences. Without that, we generally prefer for budding infrographic designers, writers, researchers, analysts or commentators to write about the ecosystem of their own volition, regardless of (and prior to) any DAO funding.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. I appreciate the thorough due diligence and am ready to address all points to advance this proposal to the next phase.

1. Proof of Concept & Reference Pieces

You are right to verify these claims, as the social proof is the foundation of this campaign. Below is the validated evidence:

  • Helium Work Onboarding & Tokenomics PDF: (Infographics): :link: Google Drive Link for Design Quality

    • Assessment: The document is visually compelling and professional. It demonstrates a strong ability to distill complex crypto-economic concepts into clean, engaging, and easy-to-understand visuals—exactly the skill set needed for a successful GIP infographic.
  • Proof of Impact (Helium CEO Repost): The live X/Twitter link is included below in a code block due to forum link limits. Please copy/paste to verify this crucial social proof:

    [https://x.com/franklino24/status/1974201847528521809?t=NXayxpUKQQsAuCWjYfoTMg&s=19](https://x.com/franklino24/status/1974201847528521809?t=NXayxpUKQQsAuCWjYfoTMg&s=19)

    • Assessment: This is powerful social proof. Public validation and sharing from a key figure like a project CEO is tangible evidence of quality and impact, proving the work resonates at the highest levels.
  • Guaranteed Distribution Network: :link: Bittensor Article on AI in Plain English (3M+ monthly views)

    • Assessment: The article is live on a major platform as promised. It shows a proven track record of securing high-value distribution to a massive, crypto-native audience, which directly justifies the “guaranteed eyeballs” claim.

2. Internal Alignment with Gnosis Parties

This GIP was drafted independently to ensure a fresh, objective strategic narrative (“Defense Stack”). As this is Phase 1 (Discussion), I have not yet consulted the Gnosis Ltd. marketing team. However, I am ready and eager to coordinate with the core marketing and growth team immediately to ensure the visual content and tone align perfectly with their current strategy.

3. Justifying Upfront Commitment (Distribution Guarantee)

The request for payment upon approval is based on the guaranteed, high-value distribution included in the budget. This is not simply payment for an infographic; it is an investment in a guaranteed feature article on a platform that generates over 3 Million+ monthly views from a crypto-native audience.

The Gnosis DAO is paying for guaranteed, measurable eyeballs on a high-impact, trust-building asset outside of the existing Gnosis ecosystem. My commitment to this high-signal distribution is the reason for the payment structure prior to the final work.

I am confident this addresses the immediate concerns and look forward to any necessary private coordination with the Gnosis team.

Thanks for the quick response. We would vote against upfront funding for this proposal for a few reasons:

  1. Though the Helium infographic looks nice, the content is more important than the design. Based on the original proposal, we’re unsure what content you’d intend to include in a Gnosis infographic, or that the topic even makes sense. Without more information, we feel it would be unwise to commit to spend upfront; a retroactive reward would be a better fit.

  2. The reference tweet thread has 2,505 views, 32 likes and 13 RTs. If Gnosis were to achieve similar, compared to a cost of 1,500 USDC, that would work out at about $0.60 per view, which in our view is unacceptably high. Unfortunately, we think this level of engagement is just too low for an upfront commitment to pay. However, we respect that it’s possible for Gnosis content to far outperform this - we would just need to see it before the cost could be justified.

  3. The “guaranteed distribution network” you mention seems to just be Medium, on which your account has 2 followers, 7 posts and no visible engagement. You mention that the platform generations 3M+ monthly views from a crypto-native audience, but it’s not clear if any of this traffic makes it to your content. This leads us to a conclusion that your channels don’t yet have a meaningful distribution to a sizeable and loyal readership, as mentioned in our first response.

Based on the above, we would still encourage you to produce content about the Gnosis ecosystem and share it here for reference. If it’s good, our community will engage and the stats will demonstrate it. That would provide a stronger basis to ask for funding (future or retroactive). For reference, we’d like to see X impressions in the tens of thousands, and engagements (likes, RTs, bookmarks) in the hundreds.

Thank you again for your proposal

Appreciate the detailed feedback and for the clarity on the DAO’s funding preferences and expectations. I genuinely appreciate the transparent dialogue, and I’m ready to address these final points with a strategic proposal designed to eliminate risk and prove performance from day one.

  1. Locking in the First Deliverable: The Gnosis Defense Stack
To provide the specific content assurance you require, I am locking in the first deliverable on Gnosis’s most powerful high-level narrative:

Topic: (The Gnosis Defense Stack: Visualizing the Security Triad of Gnosis Chain, Safe, and CowSwap.)

Goal: The first infographics will map how these three core Gnosis services interconnect to form a robust, decentralized, multi-layered security framework. This visualization is essential for communicating the ecosystem’s core value proposition to technical and end users alike.

  1. Clarifying the “In Plain English” Network Reach.
I want to clear up a vital distinction regarding the distribution network. the earlier CPV estimate overlooked the actual scale of the guaranteed distribution I leverage.

My articles are not posted to my personal Medium account, but to the In Plain English Network, which includes 7 major publications with unique audiences across tech and crypto, such as:

Python in Plain English (75K followers)

JavaScript in Plain English (160K followers)

AWS in Plain English (45K followers)

Artificial Intelligence in Plain English (31K followers)

Plus others like Stackademic, Venture, and Cubed, which extend to Web3, AI, and developer ecosystems

Collectively, these publications reach 3M+ monthly readers, ensuring guaranteed exposure across diverse technical communities.
This means the DAO is not paying for my personal reach—but for access to an established, high-authority content network that consistently drives visibility and trust across Web3.

  1. A Performance-Based, Two-Phase Contract
To completely remove all upfront financial risk for the DAO and prove the measurable impact of the network access, I propose shifting to a risk-mitigated, two-phase contract structure:

Phase 1: Proof of Concept (Trial)

Deliverable: I will produce the first high-impact infographic on “The Gnosis Defense Stack” at absolutely no cost to the DAO.

Distribution: The infographic will be published immediately through the In Plain English Network, shared as a detailed thread on my X (Twitter) account, and amplified within the Gnosis community. A PDF version will also be included for onboarding and educational use.

Phase 2: Full Funding Commitment

Condition: The DAO only proceeds with the original $1,500 budget for the remaining four deliverables if Phase 1 successfully achieves the engagement metrics we outlined (impressions in the thousands, and engagements in the hundreds).

This approach ensures our collaboration is transparent and strictly performance-based, aligning both parties toward measurable, high-impact results.

Wtf this cannot go to phase2 imo

 Apologies, everyone,I was writing my detailed proposal, and that was a note I accidentally included. It has now been updated with the full strategic proposal that defines the two-phase performance contract. Thanks for the laugh and the quick notice :joy:

Even ChatGPT knows that Gnosis funds just about anything without any vision

Thank you for the permissions change, The 5-day Phase 2 poll is now live on the original post. We are excited to begin the process. I appreciate the assistance.

Hi @Linodefi - Thank you taking the time to put a proposal together. Your poll has not generated a positive response. I do not recommend that you move this proposal to Snapshot as it will not pass quorum. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Ser @john_szczepaniak , I’ve been following this discussion to understand the governance process better. Could you clarify what specific criteria usually determine whether a proposal is ‘Snapshot-ready’ beyond just the poll numbers? Is it more about the alignment with Gnosis 3.0 goals or the economic feasibility? I’m asking to ensure I can maintain a high standard for my own future contributions. Thank you!

Hi @SadoMaso , I’ve been following the feedback on this GIP to better understand the community’s expectations for Phase 2/3.

In cases like this, where a proposal doesn’t generate a positive response, is it primarily due to a lack of alignment with Gnosis 3.0’s core KPIs, or is it more about the tangibility of the deliverables?

As a newcomer currently developing a Phase 1 discussion on UX & RWA infrastructure, I want to ensure my future work meets the high standards of GnosisDAO. Any insights on what ‘positive traction’ looks like to the delegates would be very helpful. Thank you!

Hi @Sora, regarding this GIP, it is worth noting that the community vote in Phase 2 was primarily “No”… If you look through the discussion on the thread, the general sentiment from participants was also quite critical.

To help with the next steps or to better understand the requirements for passing a proposal, I recommend reviewing the governance documentation here: Participate in Gnosis DAO Governance | Gnosis DAO Docs

Thank you again @Chim9 ! for the clarification, This is a very valuable lesson for me as a newcomer.

It’s clear now that the qualitative sentiment in the discussion thread is just as critical as the quantitative vote. I will definitely deep-dive into the governance documentation you provided to ensure my current Phase 1 discussion (regarding Narrative UX & RWA) aligns with the DAO’s high standards and rigorous requirements.

I appreciate you taking the time to point me in the right direction. It helps a lot in shaping a more robust contribution for Gnosis 3.0
