Hi everybody!
I represent a small, yet very dedicated team behind OCTO platform. We are currently building a revolutionary NFT marketplace hoping to solve a few problems like high fees for project owners and users, multiple convoluted steps to trade NFTs, the need for liquidity to trade NFTs, complexity of entering the NFT market for the rookies, the need for a specific cryptocurrency, high risk of being scammed in a transaction.
Our platform not only targets all of these issues directly, but also has social interactivity built into the platform (blockchain encrypted messenger), DEX-automation, most comprehensive service (trade, swap, auction, liquidity pools, etc) and much more!
From the information I gathered, there are currently 4 NFT marketplaces that pop-up. However, 2 of them are dead, not even the websites exist. The other one technically supports Gnosis, yet doesn’t appear to have anything. Finally, Rare Gems lacks any new activity and has only a few collections.
Currently we are in the stage of adding some more functionality to the platform along with integrating a few EVM-compatible chains. The direct and the obvious benefits that we bring to a blockchain:
- Gnosis natives will be more engaged through the use of the most comprehensive NFT marketplace.
- Moreover, this increases the awareness of the Gnosis chain itself, increases liquidity and provides the users with additional utility for the token.
- Technical benefit: metadata tracking service that can be shared with other Gnosis-based projects (the backend service to increase data fetching and subsequent loading speed).
What are we looking to spend the funds on? Great question! There are four main pieces to this, namely:
- Coding and integrating Osmosis support to our platform (including custom metadata fetching service)
- Marketing and promo, Osmosis-based prize draws and raffles
- Bus.Dev. networking with the current projects on Gnosis + project launch support (including workshops and help to promote) new projects to mint
- Backend NFT metadata fetching server

We have conducted our research, done all the necessary calculations, have a comprehensive business-model and legal incorporation in a reputable jurisdiction, etc. We have a well-defined blockchain-specific roadmap lines out, as well as a pitch deck we’d love to present or simply send to the right people. We’d love to have an opportunity to work with the Gnosis community and perhaps receive some financial support in the form of a grant.
