I was new to GnosisDAO and want to figure out how the mechanism is running here. My confusion is, did the Snapshot voting decided the result of prediction market. For example “will GIP-3 passed?” is decided by the Snapshot voting or by the final price of prediction market?
When the GnosisDAO first launched, it was prediction markets on Omen as a signal for voters. However, this has since been removed (by GIP-5) as a requirement for proposals. So the more recent proposals have not included prediction markets.
Personally, I hope we can reintroduce similar mechanics at a later date. But there are some unsolved issues that need to be solved before it’s viable.
