Dear wise validators and node operators,
We address the continued NFT spam on Gnosis Chain, which burdens the NFT indexer and nodes. To prevent this, we propose reducing the block gas limit from 30 million to 17 million. This reduction aims to deter spam while ensuring smooth execution of legitimate transactions, given the usual network usage sits at 10% block capacity.
We invite validators to consider this proposal, offering a guide on setting the new parameter. A >50% consensus is needed to amend the default gas limit, promoting a sustainable network.
