Gnosis Safe has been a successful product for many years now enabling a wide range of applications and use-cases in the Ethereum and Gnosis ecosystem, last but not least Gnosis Pay.
As a long-term GNO validator and community member, who has been building on top of the chain for a while now, I’d love to ask Gnosis CoreDevs to get into discussions with the Safe team for the deployment of the Safe UI for Chiado.
Chiado is commonly known as the official long-term Gnosis testnet, helping driving innovation in the ecosystem and fostering ecosystem growth.
We feel like the lack of a Safe UI is highly slowing down developments for many projects and represents somehow a missing critical piece for any projects building on top of Gnosis.
Someone could argue that fees on Gnosis Chain are so cheap that any test deployments could perfectly run on the mainnet as they were on a testnet, but any wise engineer knows that having separate and isolated environments is a best practice in the blockchain industry if you wanna develop financial applications.
Since Gnosis has been funding Safe developments and gave them to birth, we’d expect them to support Chiado, likewise they already do for Sepolia and other testnets.
Gnosis DAO could eventually provide more funds to cover infrastructure and engineering costs if we go into a contract agreement.
With this post I’d like to gather Gnosis’ community attention around the need for having the Safe UI on Chiado, I look forward to reading more comments.
