Should Gnosis DAO fund a new blockchain explorer for Gnosis?

{Should Gnosis DAO fund a new blockchain explorer for Gnosis?}

Hi community!

I’m Liza and I represent GetBlock - a blockchain nodes provider that has connection to 40+ blockchains on mainnet and tesnet including Gnosis. During the 2 years on the market the company has achieved a fair growth as well as established partnerships with industry leaders such as Polygon, Fantom, Flux and many others. Now we’re expanding out development to building blockchain explorers.

Team Intro
Our explorer team consists of 6 people with profound experience of at least 3 years in the fields of project management, backend and frontend development, DevOps, bizdev and marketing.

Our idea
We aim at building a user-friendly blockchain explorer in an app-like modern interface. We want to build a tool for the entire community that will facilitate on-chain data and high-end analytics in an easy-to-read and to-understand format fit for both newbies and crypto-savvy individuals.
The explorer is one of the most important tools for a blockchain, and we believe that transparency and reliability are two key values that such a tool transmits. The blockchain explorer is vital to any blockchain because it achieves reliability and security of the information presented along with providing usability and clarity to display the data.

Market Demand
Currently there is 1 explorer for Gnosis: the one by Blockscout. It has a fair time-proven functionality, however, the UX/UI seems a bit outdated and complicated. We believe that blockchain should be transparent and a simple and clean UI of an explorer is what increases trustworthiness and reliability of its image. The high-end analytics will be represented in an easy-to-read format so the users won’t be asking questions like “How to read the explorer?”

Budgeting
Since this isn’t our first explorer to build, we’re already familiar with costs incurred. Our total budget accounts for $50,000. This is how we would allocate it to different categories:
Backend: 40%
Frontend: 20%
DevOps: 15%
UX/UI: 15%
Management: 10%

Hope you like our proposal! Let’s discuss what you think!
