Simple Summary

The DAOist Bogota will be an event on Sunday, October 9th that will kickoff Devcon week. This time we will go for our biggest, most ambitious DAOist event yet aiming to have up to 1400 attendees.

Abstract

As “The DAO chain”, Gnosis Chain is invited to participate as sponsors for this event contributing also through talks and/or workshops from contributors that will be joining us in Colombia this year.

Motivation

In the past, different DAOs that live in the Gnosis Chain, as well as Gnosis itself, have participated in the Paris, Lisbon, Mexico City & Amsterdam editions of The DAOist. This is an opportunity to reaffirm why Gnosis Chain is a great home and neighborhood for current, new and future DAOs.

Specification

There are three different tier options:

Patron DAO Bogotá - 19K USD

Ride or DAO Bogotá - 11K USD

  • Talk OR Workshop
  • Online & Print visibility

Sister DAO Bogotá - 4.2K USD

  • Online visibility
  • Print visibility
  • 4 tickets

There are also the following add-ons available that fit the Gnosis brand:

  • Area Naming and Decoration - 10K USD
    • Coworking, Chill Out, Massage Parlor, DAO Dojo, Tea Temple - you name it, we will execute it.
  • Wi-Fi Naming - 6K USD

Rationale

After some signaling in the Telegram community, I’m posting phase 1 of this proposal for the community to decide on which tier should GnosisDAO participate, if enough support for doing so is allows it.
In addition to the first poll, please vote for what you find to be the most convenient tier:

Seems a good idea to participate, but maybe a little late to organize if not already planned by some ppl. If so, they should post here that they are able to attend, cause otherwise I don’t see much value in sponsoring without presence.

Jahed, GnosisGuild community steward here. I helped @0xGG and Marv launch the DAO pattern library and continue to steward other DAOs to contribute and grow it. I’ll be there and speaking, so I think this would be a good use of funds. I’ll be doing a quick talk on how DAOs can use the pattern library, what mistakes it can help them avoid, and find a way to pitch Zodiac Protocol.
