Proposal: GIP-133

Vote: For

Reasoning: We recognise and in part agree with some of the criticism of the renewal efforts for these Gnosis Pay incentives. The significant changes proposed in GIP-131 came late in the day and with little consultation, and it’s understandable why some users feel the significant changes would be a big demotivator for their current Gnosis Pay activity. More work is needed to improve the cashback incentives’ structure. With that said, we feel strongly that a hard stop in incentives risks significant harm to the initiative that Gnosis Pay may not easily recover from. The approach of providing a temporary stop gap via GIP-133 - though far from perfect - is clearly needed to protect the initiative’s progress to date. We hope to see significant consultation with respect to 131 in the months that follow, to avoid further stop gaps and frustration here.

Proposal: GIP-130

Vote: For

Reasoning: As stated in our comment, we believe this is a straightforward and necessary benefit to the DAO to protect against harmful misuse of our domains. We fully support the plan as stated.

Proposal: GIP-135

Vote: For

Reasoning: We view the relative cost of supporting this initiative as low, and the potential upside as significant if adoption succeeds. Though critical commentary has rightly flagged the challenges in building sufficient adoption and liquidity, we do not think that these are completely insurmountable, nor that they are sufficiently strong to hold off on these plans. We support incurring the cost of an audit to find out.
