It’s pretty simple actually. I just want to use gnosis. But I need xDAI to do so. But I need xDAI to get xDAI.
But I don’t have xDAI. So, that’s why I want to get xDAI. But I need xDAI to get xDAI. See the problem here?
Any way. Can anyone just send me some xDAI to 0xe98922908Fe71804898C3086820A0F5E563eb865
Otherwise you have dapps like https://www.gas.zip/ where you can very easily and for cheap, send some of your gas tokens from others networks to get some xDAI (for example you send $0.25 in Arbitrum ETH and get around 0.25 xDAI, etc…)
That’s also the way I went then. But I think that’s not really a production ready way to go.
Since I already have to go with AccountAbstraction for something any way. Someone suggested to just subsidise the fees over AA. Which is a decent approach I think. Worth a try. Probably going to go with safe. But thanks for mentioning. Might be helpful for others too.
Right, a Safe is indeed a good option, currently on Gnosis Chain you get 5 transactions per day for free (subsidized - no gas cost). Metri is also another wallet option on Gnosis Chain (although focusing on user friendiness and more limited than your regular wallet) where gas cost is subsidized.
For the rest some wallets extensions like Rabby have a “gas account” feature, it’s an account that you can reload with a little bit of tokens and then you’re able to just ask that gas account to pay for gas fees on any wallet that you have on Rabby, on all networks including Gnosis Chain.
Switched from MetaMask to Rabby more or less. But already heard the safe interaction with Rabby is apparently not top tier. On the other hand MetaMask keeps crashing. Whatever the market cap of the whole ecosystem says, we are still sooooo early lmao. Or tech is just horrible. Yeah, tech is just bad lmao especially big tech. this whole ship low quality crap really persists throughout the whole tech industry. wherever you look.
