Zapper dashboard - What is the meaning of "Members"?

What does “Members” mean in the Zapper page for GnosisDAO?

I could not find any information in Zapper docs and going through the list of members also did not lead to any insights. My best guess is that it’s a collection of all wallets / multisigs and other smart contracts with which the DAO treasury has interacted with, but then >20k affiliated addresses seems like a lot.

I don’t know 100% but my guess would be it is simply the number of addresses that hold GNO (on Ethereum?).

Good idea! That should be relatively easy to validate.

According to block explorers, GNO has the following amount of token holders:

  • 30,480 on GnosisChain
  • 20,201 on Ethereum Mainnet
  • 608 on Arbitrum

So you’re right and Zapper is indeed just showing the number of holders on Ethereum. Thanks for your quick response, very helpful! Have a good day
