I am new to Gnosis. I wanted to transfer some BTC to EURe for spending with Gnosis Pay. What is the most cost effective/simplest/safest way to do so? I managed to get some funds using exchange, USDC, Arbitrum, and Jumper bridge aggregator but this felt to be overly complicated. Surely there must be a better way. What do you suggest for preferred method for going from BTC to EURe on Gnosis?
you can change BTC to xDai on gnosischain using Mt Pelerin (https://www.mtpelerin.com) and change the xDAI to EURe using cowswap (CoW Swap | The smartest way to trade cryptocurrencies)
I just want to share where you can cheaply swap USDC (Polygon Mainnet, etc…) to EURe (Gnosis Chain)

We recommended Jumper/Li.Fi often over the past year but at this exact moment it’s no longer the best bridge aggregator for Gnosis Chain, at least until Jumper might aggregate more bridges. Currently Jumper is only aggregating Hop for Gnosis Chain and while the quotes given are not great, the problematic part is that sometimes users get stuck with the intermediary token from Hop like for example hETH…
Currently we rather recommend to use:
- Debridge : can bridge from many networks to Gnosis Chain (including Solana) and able to get you directly EURe on Gnosis Chain (useful for Gnosis Pay)
- Layerswap : can bridge from many networks to Gnosis Chain, low fees but unable to get you directly EURe, for example if you bridge USDC you will have to swap the USDC to EURe on CoW Swap once on Gnosis Chain.
That being said those bridges hardly apply to the question in the first post, for that you need dapps/exchanges who can handle BTC like what Refri mentioned in his answer with Mt Pelerin.

https://swaps.io/ is another option.
Currently it is limited to smaller amounts but for those asset that is does support it is very fast and has good rates. So for bringing in ~.e.g <200 EURe against stables from other L2 it is often a great option.
